Wooyoung career 

The talented musician began his entertainment career with the Big Hit Entertainment as a trainee in the year 2014. Wooyoung met Yeosang in the training and both became close friends. Yeosang let the Big Hit Entertainment before 2017, which also resulted in Wooyoung’s leaving too.

After leaving the Big Hit Entertainment, the two friends signed under the KQ Entertainment. He was among the four boys who successfully passed the audition organized by the KQ Entertainment in October 2017. The audition was called the survival reality show MIXMINE.

He was ranked 57 in the MIXMINE Just Dance showcase but was later evicted in the seventh episode. He was ranked number 132 in final.

He was introduced as a member in f the KQ Fellaz which is a pre-debut team of the trainees under KQ before his debut.

He then debuted on October 24, 2018 as a member of ATEEZ with the tracks titled Treasure and Pirate King. Wooyoung hold the position of the performance and vocal.
