Rubi Rose has made thousands of dollars selling her photos on Only Fans, but one Twitter user revealed that her account is actually a rip- off.

Only Fans has quickly become one of the biggest social media platforms, with over 24,000 registered users uploading content to the site in return for earn money.

But it’s not just ordinary people that are making accounts, even some pretty big influencers and social media stars are giving it a go too – and rapper Rubi Rose has received a lot of backlash for her disappointing content.

Who is Rubi Rose?

Rubi Rose is a popular model, rapper, influencer and social media personality.

The 22-year-old from Lexington, Kentucky has gained a huge 1.3 million followers on her Instagram account @therubirose.

She’s also famous for her appearance in a few big music videos, such as Migos’ ‘Bad and Boujie’ and Raury’s ‘Cigarette Song’.

Rubi Rose made $100,000 in 48 hours on Only Fans

On Saturday, the rapper revealed on her Instagram that she had made an Only Fans account.

She posted a screenshot of her profile page, captioning he photo: “Let’s see what all this hype is about. Link in bio.”

Only Fans is a site that allows users to make money when people subscribe to their content. This content can be photos or videos of anything you like, but the site has become synonymous with posting nudity and x-rated content for money.

Then just two days later, Rubi posted another photo to her Instagram account, revealing that she had learnt a huge $22,000 in the first day. And just two days after starting the account, she had earned over $100,000.

But many have argued that Rubi made $100,000 through simply ripping-off fans.

She is charging fans $49.49 for a monthly subscription to her content, which many people are saying is far too much considering she’s posting the exact same photos that can be accessed on Instagram for free.

Rubi took to her Instagram Story to post a teaser of one of her Only Fans photos. It was a photo of herself with a friend appearing to be naked, but half of the photo was covered by a rose emoji.

One Twitter user then compared it to the photo you see if you pay $15, revealing that Rubi had actually tricked her followers into thinking they were both naked by blurring out the bra strap to encourage them to pay the subscription.

Another Twitter user said: “Rubi Rose made $22K off Only Fans in ONE DAY just by posting what she already posted on Instagram!” Whilst someone else said: “Just seen the Rubi Rose onlyfans leaks. So glad I saved my money.”

Rubi even then posted a photo of a pile of her folded clothes onto her Only Fans, something which received even more backlash from subscribers.

Rubi responded to the backlash

After receiving a lot of backlash for posting the same content she already posts on Instagram for free, Rubi responded to the claims on her Twitter.

She said: “Only fans isn’t just for p*rn and s*x s*it. That’s what y’all made it out to be. Just like how ppl thought Snapchat was for sending “nudes”. You can post whatever exclusive content you want for your fans to see.”

Rubi quickly shut down all the comments in just one Tweet, claiming that she doesn’t have to post nude content on Only Fans.
