BIOGRAPHY
Daughter of the famous Mexican writer Yolanda Vargas Dulché, Emoé de la Parra got her first job as an actress in 1970 in the soap opera Encrucijada . In theater he acted in several plays, among which the monologue Emily stands out, which is based on the last years of Emily Dickinson’s life, and, in 1999, the Mexican Association of Theater Critics (AMCT) awarded him the award “María Douglas” for her performance in the monologue Primer Amor . She was also a theater director, an area in which she was awarded in 1993 by the UCTT for her direction of the play Hace Tiempo . As an actress, De la Parra participated in several soap operas, most based on novels written by her mother, including Pasión (2007) and Soy tu dueña (2010). There were not many film projects in which she participated, the first being Runaway Home (2013) under the direction of M. Alberto Román M. Recently she acted in Feral (2018), a horror film by Andrés Kaiser.
